Who runs Coastal Voices

Coastal Voices is led by Sara Brown, who is a member of the Natural Voice Practitioners Network.

In 2003, Sara was awarded a grant from the Arts Council of Wales to attend a series of training events around the UK, looking at teaching singing using a Natural Voice approach.

In April 2004, Sara  started running singing evening classes In Abergele. Coastal Voices is the result.

Costs

 Sessions cost £4.00 each and there’s the opportunity to pay for the whole term in advance, at a reduced rate.

Events

Since we began singing we have been invited to perform at a number of local and charity events, most recently for Childline Cymru, as part of Voices for Hospices for St David’s Hospice and of part of a World Music event in St Asaph that raised £3880 for WaterAid!

We also have regular Singing Suppers, which are end of term gatherings where family and friends can come along and see what we’ve been up to and perhaps join in a song too!
